Excellent Flash
This flash is a steel I give it a 5 based on price. You can pay more but I doubt youll do much better. It was recognized by my camera right away in the E-TTL mode. It works great with my rechargeable batteries. Im using it on my Canon S5IS. Im getting great results. You quickly learn how to bounce the flash off white ceilings. My favorite feature is the two built in flash reflector and / or the diffuser. Its great because youll never misplace these items. I also like the flexibility of the swivel in all directions it allows me to take some great angles.

great for fun i screwed this onto my 18-55 from my rebel xs and got some decent shots for the effect. but when it came down to it i knew when i purchased it this was only to hold me over for the next few months until i can afford something that can deliver what i need. Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG IF HSM Aspherical Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras because i have needs. i experience a pretty noticeable amount of distortion on the outer edges of the shot nothing that cant be cropped out or ignored. also great to use if you want to add that certain "character" to your shot & yet making it seem intentional. or if youre debating whether or not to add a wide angle lens to your collection try this out first? i think its really fun to unscrew this off my camera & watch peoples faces through it. whoa. seller was excellent fast shipping & all that good stuff.

Doesnt fit
Bought it and tried to put it on my camera and it doesnt fit. Someone said I need to buy another lense to put this onto it. Why didnt they tell me that in the first place

Dont be fooled by the Name..
It says that its a Wide Angle Panoramic Macro FISHEYE Lens.. but when i received mine it was "semi-fisheye". Im kinda disappointed about it. but over all the Wide Angle takes really nice pictures.

Opteka T-Mount Adapter for Canon EOS Rebel XS XSi XTi XT 50D 40D 30D 20D 5D 1Ds and Mark II SLR Digital CamerasFrom Opteka

More Detail

An accessory ring available in Canon EOS mount which converts the lens mount of your SLR camera to a T-Mount. The compatible Opteka T-Mount System makes it possible to use most any single lens reflex camera in combination with various front camera attachments such as telescopes mirror lenses slide duplicators...etc. The T-Mount is a metal connector that screws onto the compatible front attachment and allows this combination to be coupled to the Canon SLR camera lens mount.

---

Customer Reviews

Simple but effective
A well made but simple and effective product for connecting the camera to optics of a different size.

Opteka T-Mount Adapter for Canon EOS
The Opteka T-Mount Adapter for Canon EOS enabled me to fit a 500mm vivitar mirror lens to a Canon eos digital camera giving me a focal length of 700mm The depth of field is quite shallow because of the fixed aperture of f8 but I have been able to get very close to birds and animals unnoticed. The adapter saved a lens that would have otherwise gone unused. It is useful for all your manual focus T-mount lenses.

4. Attach your camera to the t-mount and you are ready to begin taking pictures

Customer Reviews

like its been said...
great for fun i screwed this onto my 18-55 from my rebel xs and got some decent shots for the effect. but when it came down to it i knew when i purchased it this was only to hold me over for the next few months until i can afford something that can deliver what i need.

Opteka Close-Up Set (+1, +2, and +4) with 10x Macro Lens for Canon EOS Rebel XS, XSi, XTi, XT, 50D, 40D, 30D, 20D, 5D, 1Ds and Mark II SLR Digital CameraFrom Opteka

More Detail

Cameras fitted with normal lenses do not permit us to move closer than a certain minimum distance from the object being photographed. The Close-Up lens which is simply mounted in the front of our normal taking lens permits the taking of close-ups and also makes possible the photography of details which would be quite impossible without using the Close-Up lens. The easy to use solution for getting extra close. These lenses enable you to get much closer than the minimum focus of the standard camera lens - as close as 4 inches from the subject. Ideal for cataloging small items and focusing on details.

i buy thisporduct for a wrong size but goodthing that thy have a step down ring for 72mm

Great filter set
I wasnt sure about this set when I first ordered it but it was cheap so I figured if it works great deal if it doesnt no big loss. Well it actually works great and allows you to get some really good close up shots using any lens you already have that is the same size.

Excellent product
This close-up lens kit offered by Opteka is excellent. Using these on my Canon EOS 40D Ive been able to get macro shots that my 28x135mm lens would never be capable of. I posted a few images taken with these lens filters in the users image gallery. For the $25 asking price these are worth every penny.
